Lake People DIGI-TOOL F611 2 x 1 in 4 AES/EBU Splitter

Ideal for use in modern recording and broadcast studios, theDIGI-TOOL F611fromLake Peopleis a distribution amplifier and digital splitter designed to deliver up to eight expanded AES/EBU XLR outputs for one input at sample rates as high as 24-bit / 192 kHz. The F611 features two separate modules, each with one balanced, digital XLR input and four balanced, digital XLR outputs, which can be operated individually, providing two 1-in, 4-out routings, or together to split one input into eight.

The unit features high output voltages for maintaining signal strength over very long distances, and a high input sensitivity helps to regenerate weak input signals. The F611 also sports failsafe operation thanks to its switchable multimode power supply, which automatically detects power input and switches to the appropriate voltage between 90 and 260 VAC.

High Voltages for Strong SignalsOne of the most important features of any professional distribution amplifier is the signal strength of the output, as a strong signal is vital for high-quality broadcasts and complex digital signal routings. Oftentimes, a studio may need to feed digital signals over very long distances, resulting in significant loss.

To address this issue, the F611 sports AGC amplifiers to produce 5 Vpp output signals, more than enough to cover extremely long cable runs while maintaining optimal signal integrity. All I/O is balanced and both the inputs and outputs feature transformers for ensuring ideal signal strength, even allowing the unit to recover (regenerate) lost signal strength when receiving weak input signals.
